This project is a UX/UI redesign concept for the McDonald’s mobile app, tailored specifically to meet the needs and behaviors of Gen Z users. The goal was to enhance the digital ordering experience by introducing features that emphasize personalization, gamification, and social connectivity. Through user research, we identified key pain points—limited menu diversity, a clunky customization flow, and unclear order tracking—and translated these insights into engaging, user-centered solutions. These include a Burger Generator that encourages flavor exploration, a community sharing feature for user-created recipes, enhanced flavor and allergy filtering, and real-time order updates. Together, these features reimagine McDonald’s not just as a fast food brand, but as a personalized, social food experience designed for the next generation.
