This project is a modern reinterpretation of The Voyager Golden Records, originally launched into space aboard the Voyager spacecrafts in 1977. The records were designed as a time capsule of humanity—containing sounds, images, and greetings that reflect the diversity of life and culture on Earth—intended to communicate with any intelligent extraterrestrial life that might encounter them.
My approach reimagines this iconic artifact through a contemporary design lens, while honoring its purpose as a universal form of communication. The visual system centers around a two-color palette and precise line work, drawing inspiration from technical blueprints to evoke a sense of scientific legacy and cosmic curiosity.
